I have a 97 dodge ram 1500 laramie with the 5.2l that needed an alternator not a big deal right? When i went to get a new alternator, i noticed the pulley was significantly larger than the pulley on the old so i switched them before installing new alternator. Now im having a high idle(1300rpm) in park and 1000rpm in drive with foot on break. Ive check for vacuum leaks throttle cable tension and anything i might have disturbed during the proccess and found nothing.
