WHAT PROGRAM?
I have seen that several of you on this forum run the Hypertech Programmer. What program do you run the 87 or 93? and why?
Just curious as to what is best for everyday driving and weekend towing.

Redoffroad - question for you. What do you think of your mudders? I had them on order for my truck but decided agaisnt them due to the fact that I drive about 100 miles a day. I am still thinking of ordering them. Thanks Don
So far I like them . I have a set on my cherokee as well. The ones on the cherokee already have around 17-18k on them and they still look pretty good (30% tread) but it is a much lighter vehicle so I doubt I will get the same mileage out of the Off Road. They handle well on the road, not much noise, and they do very well off road. Seem to clean out nicely and pull me around in the snow and mud as good as any other mud tire for a fraction of the cost. I have run Swampers, Buckshots, BFG's, Cooper's, Ground Hawgs, Pro Comp's and a few others and I would say these are real similar in wear and grip to the Pro Comp and BFG.
I also travel on the road allot, like yourself, and I have to say for the money I think they are a great tire and seem to wear very evenly as long as you keep them rotated every 5-6k. From my experience that is about as good as your gonna get out of any mud tire without cupping.

thanks for your input silverdodge. I decided to run the 87 program as well based on what I had read. I too believe that because everything is electronically controlled this motor performs the best when you allow the programmer to set your timing curve based on the actual fuel you are running. Because of the difference in that curve it definately perfoms better on the low end at the 87 setting, which is what I am more concerned with. Wide open throttle isn't really what I am after, just looking for the grunt needed for everyday statt and stop driving and towing. The 93 setting seems to me would be more well suited for wide open HP.
