K&N FIPK GEN II

From what I hear, it's the best intake out there. It's the ONLY one for the V10s (in my case), and it sure seems worth it.

You could always make something like this. It cost me about $50 total in parts for the tubing, air hat and filter. I cut a hole in the shroud next to the radiator so that it can draw cold air in from outside the engine compartment. Works very well and I saved enough over the K&N to get a throttle body.

I have an Airaid that I modified on mine, I insulated pipe and added a 90* elbow to put it directly in the path of cold air, pretty sweet.

My only problem with the K&N was the having to relocate things under my hood, I just bought the basic Airaid and modified the flap next to the radiator to allow cold air to flow directly on the filter after I added an extra pipe, basically as good as any you can buy or make, just have to get cold air to it.

Cheapest piping you can find and K&N filter. If you want a intake from a brand name K&N or Airraid probably. All the major brands should be fine.

Follow this link and read what it has to say about the K&N filters. I was going to buy a K&N until I read this. After looking at the charts, I decided that K&N was not the way to go.
