I got a "new" 360 and I'm doing the plenum gasket before I put it in, but I can't remember, mainly because of conflicting answers...Do I need to use RTV in the corners of the intake or for the plenum gasket? I'm doing valve cover gaskets as well, I don't think I need any for that though?
TIA

None for the plenum gasket, dabs in the corners where the intake gaskets meet the china wall though would be a good plan.

I just finished a plenum repair literally 3 days ago. I smeared a thin film of RTV to glue the gasket to the plate but I was really sparing with it. I also used RTV in the cracks on the edge where the heads meet the block. I also used a thin film to hold the cork end pieces on the intake gasket in place. Also, to avoid wiggling (<-------fancy technical term) the intake around, I used all thread rod to make two studs to slide the intake down straight into place. It made a nice clink and settled in place right away.
