97 5.2l vacuum line misplacement

Default 97 5.2l vacuum line misplacement

I got a 97 dodge ram 1500 5.2l this vacuum line fell of the back of motor when I was reinstalling dipstick after rebuilding transmission and I'm not sure where it's home is. Im not sure where either end goes or if the breather end goes any whhere, it looks like the hose end might of broke because it doesnt look clean cut.any help would be appreciated Thank yall

That's the vent line for the T-case. Probably broke off further down toward the vacuum switch up on top of it. The little feller on the end is just a filter. Get some rubber line that fits tight around the green line, leave a couple inches below the filter, and use the rubber line to put it back together. That vent just goes up behind the engine somewhere, no idea what holds it up though.
