Transmission ID
I've got a 2002 Ram 2500 4x4 w/360 and need to ID my transmission. VIN# 3B7KF23762M260237. I tried the decoder but it says thats a bad number Other places have gave me the basic pickup info but not any transmission info. . Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time im guessing the 46re

Did you enter the VIN in all caps? Otherwise it'll tell you to get bent. Yes you have a 2nd gen and @HeyYou should've combined your two posts & then moved it to the correct sub-forum lol. With a 360 in a late 2nd gen you should have a 46RE.
If it's a 2002 2500/3500 then it's still a 2G. 2002 1500 is first year 3G. Yet to figure why they do that, they did the same thing with the transition to 4G, making things even weirder with 2009 2500/3500's that look like late 3G's but had eagle hemis in them.....
