Door lock actuators, lock then immediately unlock
I have a 97 ram 1500, 5.9 sport. I replaced the door lock actuator driver and passenger side as my truck when you pressed the lock they would lock but then unlock immediately after unless you held the button. Replaced them as I figured that was the issue. Unfortunately wasn’t, I did just put the switches back in that when you open the door the interior lights turn on (not sure what the switch is called) but that didn’t change anything. If anyone has any insight on what I could do that would be great as I already had my truck broken into and would like to be able to lock the doors to prevent it again.

Most likely chaffed wires in the rubber boot between door and frame.
