Default Front end question

I've got a 97 dodge ram 1500 4wd and i just ordered a front end kit from 1a auto. It comes with track bar, tie rod ends and sleeves, ball joints, sway bar links. But I got under the truck and had someone turn the steering wheel and noticed alot of play in one particular part but I'm not sure what it's called and it doesn't come in the kit. It connects from a bracket close to both front shocks and links to a bar sort of like the track bar with bends at both ends

The sway bar typically doesn't go bad unless the vehicle was in a serious front end collision. The replaceable items are the sway bar frame bushings and the sway bar end links. Personally, I like to use polyurethane materials for both bushings, as they give a tighter feel in lieu of rubber.

Along with everything I listed, I plan on replacing my steering stabilizer and putting in the aftermarket bracket to fix death wobble. Is there anything else yall recommend replacing while I'm at it?

If you plan on keeping the truck for quite awhile, I'd suggest swapping over to a 3rd gen style track bar. This requires using a conversion bracket, since the 3rd gen track bar eliminates the ball joint style end of the 2nd gen track bar that tends to be the weak/failure point of the 2nd gen track bar.

I went with an adjustable 3rd gen style track bar from these folks (https://solidsteel.biz/product/adjus...2500-3500-4x4/), but there are others making similar adjustable 3rd gen track bars.

A stabilizer is not a fix for the DW, It's more of a band aid. The pic shows the old track bar installed. Your slop could be there.
