I'm getting ready for the springtime, and by that, I mean spending some dough on truck parts. Anyways I'm looking to throw in a Comp 20-746-9 in with the hughes 1110p spring set. It's an Indy, just touched 90k so I figured now is a good time to give it a little more personality for an already unique ride and replace the plenum before it becomes an issue while I'm at it. Would there be any clearance issues with .506" lift on stock lifters and heads? I've seen several reviews of people running this cam on stock heads, so maybe I'm being paranoid. Thanks

You can likely run that cam with stock heads, however, it may require some modifications. You may have to have the valve guides trimmed down so that the valve spring retainer doesn't hit the valve guide at full lift. I'm assuming that you also plan to install a new double roller timing chain and gear set and water pump while you're in there doing that camshaft job?
