I need a ctm for a 2001 dodge ram 1500.original part no. 5604 5999 ab can not find one.

Part number now seems to be 56045999AF - You might want to check with PCM rebuilders, since this part seems to be discontinued.

Used market is probably going to be your best bet. Try Car-Part.com, see who has the right vehicle, then call them, and have a chat. Don't bother with the email contact, it seldom works.
