I’m having problems with my 46re transmission when I swift into reverse with the shifter it won’t go into reverse but will go to n d 2 and 1st but won’t down shift some one told me it could be the linkage and one says the safety switch but when I go under and Change it to neural it goes but really easy isn’t it suppose to lock when going from gear to gear cause mine don’t even click what could that be

 

Probably need to drop the pan, and see if you find anything interesting in there.
