After three more episodes of starting the Ew-ute and it quitting, including twice where -- fortunately -- I did not even get out of the driveway, it's decision time. I am 100% certain the https://drtparts.com/product/dodge-dash-replacement/ will fix my problem.

However, it's not worth it to me. I don't have a suitable place to work on it, it's above my skill level, it's not worth paying someone else to do the work, and no I longer have a reason to keep the old Ram.

I would rather see it go to someone who could use it for usable parts or is looking for a restorable vehicle than have it hauled to a pull-your-own-parts facility where I will get scrap value.

Rust-free South Carolina truck with straight body except left-rear fender btwn wheel opening and taillight, paint faded. 124,600 actual miles; timing chain, plenum repair, and other while-i'm-at-it repairs; no fluid leaks, runs, shifts and drives well when PCM, OBD and instrument cluster are on speaking terms. More stuff done but beyond the scope of this post. Clean upholstery, no holes in carpet, OEM carpet mats. Drop-in bedliner, bedrails, step rails. Original Monroney widow sticker and owner's manual, clean title.

I am going to post it on the Forum Marketplace with photos in the next few days. If anyone wants to know more before I get it posted, PM me, though it may be a day or two before I can reply.
