Default TPS issues

I recently had a dtc for a faulty tps sensor pop up on my scanner. This is this fourth or fifth time this has happened in the last few years. Every time I’ve replaced with standard brand products. Any ideas why this keeps happening? Could it be something else? Or have I just had the worst luck of all and received four or five faulty sensor from the parts store? Thanks!!

Not at all uncommon for aftermarket parts these days. If you can find a Mopar TPS sensor, that would be preferred.

What code # are you getting? There are more than one for the tps. If your scanner reads live data you can see what the pcm is getting from it.
