Will it start right back up? Or do you have to wait a bit before it will start again??

Have you scanned the PCM with an OBD2 scanner at the time the shutdown happens? Does it show any stored or pending codes? Is your battery in good condition and fully charged?

Question

When you say "new distributor tuned", does that mean someone set the fuel sync when the new distributor was installed?
