Default 99 ram 2500 5.9 360 won’t start

I have a 99 ram 2500 with the 5.9 360 only 100,000 miles last time I drove it it wouldn’t accelerate past 12 mph on my way home I let it sit for a few days and tried driving it again same problem it ran n sounded like crap couldn’t accelerate past 10 mph and no check engine light or codes coming up 1 week later it wouldn’t start at all took it to a mechanic it has fuel n spark so he started replacing stuff new ignition coil, pickup in distributor, crank shaft sensor all new fuel injectors I’ve had multiple fairly decent mechanics look at it they’ve pretty much gone through everything they can think of and it won’t start before replacing the injectors they partially blocked them off and got it to start they thought it was getting to much fuel after replacing injectors it still won’t start does anybody familiar with the 5.9 gasser have any advice what might be the problem I’d greatly appreciate it

Have you tried holding the pedal sightly open, when my IAC motor was acting up (controls air flow with closed butterflys) it wouldn't fire without letting just a little air in from the foot pedal, also wouldn't idle. This would not be the cause of you no power when driving issue but maybe one of the other repairs was the cause of that. If you do get it start and find your power while driving issue is present I might suggest cutting the cat off and seeing if its any better. It may be getting plugged up. Especially if you have/had a misfiring or excessive fueling issue going on.

Have you check fuel pressure driving/cranking, because fuel pump really comes to mind here, but when you say it has fuel what does that mean. Have you verified spark timing with a light. Compression Test?

Thanks for the response I passed your info to my mechanic so we’ll see what happens we never thought about the cat being plugged up great idea when I said it’s got fuel we tested the fuel pump and that’s good we checked the timing that’s also good so we’ll go back at it again and hopefully we can get it running thanks again
