So I have an 01 dodge 1500 with 220k miles that was stolen and they ripped the ignition out! The truck runs hot wired but when I put a new ignition switch I have no power at all. I have tried a couple ignitions and same nothing. Is there anyone else that has had this problem or anyone have any idea how I can fix this solution! Thanks

 

Are all the wires to/from the ignition switch intact? My guess would be.... No.

 

Yes, I actually took it to shop and they said
“repaired wires at ignition switch missing constant voltage to ignition switch only have 1.9 volts at fuse 11 on internal fuse box” they wanted $500 for further wiring diagnostics so I told them I would try to figure it out myslef

 

Well, you know where the problem is then. Got a bad connection somewhere, that feeds fuse 11. That comes from the ignition switch..... Connector 1, pin 2.
