Default 01 ram 1500 stalling at idle, no codes

bone stock 01 dodge ram 1500 5.2 v8 167k kms

this has been the only problem I've had in my two years of ownership. My truck has been having this problem since two weeks ago. It will randomly stall when I'm idling at red lights, stop signs, it even stalled when i stopped to reverse once. The AC, radio and all electronic shtuff will stay on but the engine dies.

When the engine dies, it will show the engine light for 2ish seconds and then go away, and when i go to code read there are no codes. Today I went to start my truck in the morning after a day of not being driven and was able to get the code p0505 - idle control system - before the engine light turned off. I took out the IAC valve, cleaned it and put it back in, started the truck and went for a drive, didn't stall at stop lights or reds so I parked it to see how long it would run. Ran for 28 minutes before the engine stalled, checked for codes and none.

?possibly fuel related because ONE TIME while i was driving my gas light came on even though i knew i had well over half a tank, i pulled over and 30 seconds after being in park, engine stalled. It fired up again no problem, no more gas light and was showing me the correct amount of gas i knew i had. This has not happened since. Just wondering if there's anything else i could check/replace before dropping the fuel tank and replacing fuel pump n lines. Thanks to anyone that replies!

EDIT: cleaned throttle body and reset PCM, neither worked. Decided to just drop the fuel tank and replace most things fuel related. Fuel pump & filter being the big ones I think was the issue along with some wiring that needed to be redone. Truck runs clean and doesn’t die anymore. Thanks for the suggestions on things to look at!!!

I took out the IAC valve, cleaned it and put it back in
You should also clean the throttle body. A lot of times carbon will build up in there and cause problems. If this doesn't fix the issue it may be the iac itself.

Need to reset the PCM after cleaning as well, and let it re-learn the zero values for the various sensors.....
