Default 89 np435 swap into 96 ram 4x4

Looking to swap a np435 out of a 89 w250 4x4 with a 318 into a 96 1500 4x4 with 318. Now I know for sure the bell housing has to be trimmed out for the fly wheel position sensor, use the 96 fly wheel and hydraulics with the 89 clutch and clutch basket, but wondering what else has to be done and if I can use the stock transmission mount and transfer case or if I need to locate some other parts from other trucks and make a custom transmission mount.
Any input is appreciated as I'm about to give it a shot and see how it starts to line up and work

Both trucks were 4x4 manual 318 internally balanced and 23 spline outputs on the transmissions

What about trans length? I would expect the 435 is gonna be shorter.... so, likely have to do something different with the mounts.

Why do you want to swap? It's only 1 to 1 in forth.

Have you had any luck with working on the swap? I'm actually on the same idea as you. I would love a heavy 4 speed in a 1500. The nv3500 is pretty weak and is already not reliable with stock power. A 4 speed with a granny gear, and a gear vendor overdrive would be a sick tow rig half ton. At that point i know I could pull some weight up a mountain and not have to worry about my transmission become the fuse in my drivetrain. I don't like the idea of an nv4500 because these 4 speeds offer a better granny gear, and with a gear vendor splitter they actually end up being a 7 speed. With much closer shifts than an nv4500.
