Any Insight on this knock is appreciated
Some info: it’s a 1995 jeep grand cherokee with the magnum 5.2, i know not a Dodge, but Mopar and the same engine as a lot of you. Everything except the engine is at 265k miles, the engine was recently swapped in 200 miles ago with a junkyard donor which has 117k miles.
The engine has ran incredibly strong up until yesterday when it started knocking. any insight to maybe what it sounds like would be greatly appreciated
I am unable to spin the motor with a socket on the crank in a complete rotation. The starter seems to have no problem making it past. The crank spins smooth until you hit whatever is in the way, its sudden and doesn’t give.
