Default Front axel leak

So I spent about an entire day replacing my front right wheel hub after it didn’t pass inspection when I got home I noticed that there was a pool of gear oil by the U joint on that same side is it possible my manipulation of the axle on that side during the repair allowed some oil to leak past the seal and fill the space where the axle sits. My concern is that I might of damaged the seal ?

Seal is probably damaged. When ever I pull the axle shafts out, I try to clean the axle housing really good. But with the old seal, even without dirt they are easily damaged.
Good thing is that you don't need to pull the carrier, bad thing is that side is PITA to install as there is very little room to work from the CAD housing opening.

Well, that’s a thing is the axle was never fully out to my knowledge because it never left the inside of the housing knuckle when I replaced the hub bearing and I checked my differential it’s slightly low, but close to being at level

If you didn't remove the the axle shaft when you removed the hub/bearing the weight of the shaft was resting on the seal. By the look of the axle u joint you should have replaced those also. Always remove the shaft and keep it centered in the axle tube when removing and installing. This will keep the seal from being damaged.
