Default Upgrading to 4.10 gears

Ive got a 1998 1500 5.2 2WD, and ive been on the fence about getting 4.10 gears. My biggest pet peeve is the slow acceleration i get with stock gears. Yes, I know its a chunky truck, but a bit of pep would be a game changer. I do sometimes take the expressway, so I'm curious what kind of RPM people get at those types of speeds, so 70ish mph. That being said, how many RPM are you gaining and does it become annoying at that speed?

Much thanks

I converted my Dana 60s to 4.10 gears (from 3.54 gears) several years ago. I also run 285/75/16 (33" tall tires). Never regretted it for a moment. With the overdrive, I regularly do 80+ MPH on the highway without issue and I'm turning about 3,000 RPM-ish.
