It was a while ago i found them and they are not cheap. I don't like the way they look either. I know it's pain but looks like retrofitting HID's of your choice in clear housings are the way to go(at least is for me). Guess the biggest pain is getting the new headlight housings apart. Have to stick them in a oven until the sealant is soft enough to pry them apart. Here are some videos of different LED/HID projectors, Have a look at the light and beam patterns then research them further. I mentioned the G5R's before but you may want something different.

Thanks for the update. It still looks like that you have to modify the stock headlight housings to install these HID upgrade lights. I was hoping that someone may have already started mass producing the HID lights into 2nd gen housings and started selling them.

 

That's what retrofitting is, Do a googe search for second gen hid projectors and see what comes up. You have read the descriptions real close because they like to deceive you in what they are selling. May have a hid bulb but not a projector. Or has a projector with a halogen bulb etc.. The one i did find had no info in what the hid projector was.
