Coolant leak? Get a pressure tester loan a tool from most auto parts stores. Deposit to get it refunded when you return.

Absolutely. The freeze plugs installed at the factory are steel. It's common for them to rust and leak over the years. If you see a freeze plug that's leaking, it can be replaced by removing the old freeze plug with a hammer and screwdriver and replacing it. Replacement freeze plugs can be purchased from any parts store. They are made of either steel or brass. The size of the freeze plugs in the engine block are 1-5/8". The freeze plugs in each end of the cylinder heads are 1-1/4".
