i have a 98 ram 1500 5.9 magnum 270k miles auto trans 4x4 all stock drivetrain and it will not idle right i replaced the icav tps and map and it still idles way to low to the point where it cuts off but i can drive it fine if my foot is on the gas soon as i take it off it just about cuts off

 

Did you thoroughly clean the throttle body well in front of the IAC? They can accumulate a great deal of carbon in that area that may cause the issue. Also, a reset of the PCM should be done after these parts were installed, so the the PCM can relearn idle.

 

What condition is your battery in? A weak battery will cause idle issues.
