A friend of mine has a 04 Ram. We put true dual exhaust on it, left the sensors in it. The light came on for a few days then went out. No negative effects did exactly what it was supposed to. The truck is a beast.

This is exactly why the whole idea of emissions pisses me off. Just a reason for someone to abuse power and make a profit.

I had a 99 Ram gutted the cat, put in a sim, flowmaster 2 chamber, and had my truck tested at the local emissions place. They put a sniffer in each exhaust port, ran the test and the result was a good test. Not only was it a good test but it was on the lowest end of the scale.

Figure that one out.
