So I already posted a thread on this but with other things but I want this problem solved specifically. In April last year I replaced the tranny governer pressure selonoid to fix it not shifting past 2nd, and ever since then it won’t go into overdrive. This tranny has like 30k miles on it but I have a p0470 code torque converter circuit / open which says tcc selonoid? Is that the overdrive selonoid that’s like two squares with a dot in the middle I am planning on changing fluid in like 10k miles or 5k and fixing this but it runs 2700 rpm at 65
Try this before you start replacing parts. Drive the vehicle and from a stop and move the shift lever to the low position and start driving, then move the shifter by hand to the next position. Did the transmission go into 2nd gear and do the same with the next gear. If it does the most likely problem is the valve body. If you are dropping the pan check for debris and the front and rear band levers. If the front band lever has too much free play that will cause shifting problems.
P0740 Torque Converter Clutch, No RPM Drop @ Lockup
No OD and lock up are two different things. OD should engage after about 45 mph. Might want to inspect the plug on the side of the trans for a connection problem. May want to test the leads and see what you have.

well uh yeah I already ordered a selonoid because we had this problem in the past and we sent it to marmies which is a dealership mechanic in our area, and they said it was a wiring issue and they just rigged it to work. Basically they broke the connecter you put a picture of not the female end but where the sensor pushes out of the transmission I’ll put pictures of it.
