Default 99' 46re 3rd to 4th gear slipping.

Hello,
I'm having issues with my 46re transmission slipping from 3rd into overdrive, but sometimes it will shift. Mostly not.
It is freshly rebuilt... maybe 10 miles on it now. I adjusted the bands to spec. Replaced all the solenoids and servos inside. Changed the 3rd and 4th accumulator spring. Adjusted the throttle valve (tv) cable the best I can. With all that done, I ended up with it Slipping from 3rd to 4th.
When it shifts out of 3rd It will rev up like it's in neutral, then try to shift then rev up. This will happen repeatedly.
Any suggestions?

I assume you checked the fluid level? Was the OD rebuilt also? You might want to get some pressure readings and see what you have. https://atracom.blob.core.windows.ne...0/2000_154.pdf

Default Update

I finally got the pressure test done.
accumulator - 1st, 2nd and 3rd tested with in spec.
Couldn't get it to shift into 4th at first, it shifted in... and got 65psi than it shifted out. Which engine free revs like in neutral.
front servo - 3rd 60psi at idle 4th max at 65psi.
Rear servo - tested with in spec.
OD clutch - reached 65psi and that was it.

Any ideas?

What is pressure supposed to be? If you are significantly lower than that, it's likely bleeding off somewhere....

At wot, the pressure for 4th or OD is supposed to 90 to 100psi. Both the front servo pressure and OD clutch pressure numbers are the same for the 4th gear. Now, I have to figure what is not holding pressure. Thank you.

I would be looking at the valve body, If you drop it you can actuate the servos with air. It's either starving for fluid or leaking pressure.
