Hey im thinking about cutting the muffler off my stock 1999 5.9l magnum dodge. Does anyone know what size replacement pipe id need. Ive tried looking but i dont know if i looking at the right stuff. I want to cut the muffler of and install a replacement pipe to go where the muffler went to connect the pipes. Could someone give me a link to the right spot or let me know what i need to look for?

I'm pretty sure the pipe is 2-1/2". You can measure the length of the existing muffler to determine the length of the pipe you'll need. I replaced my exhaust pipes several years ago from the catalytic converter on back and it was 2-1/2".

What's the length that you need? Once you have that information, any decent local muffler shop can quickly make it up for you.
