Now that you have the Snap-On part number, you can search on that and likely find it on Canada's eBay. You can also check Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for MT2500 items, too.

I've also got an old Modis ‐‐ I believe it's updated through '04 -- and I think the OBD adapter with the slot for keys is identical. So, it's not just the red brick.
