You should be able to go back and exchange them for the right bulbs..

 

ok so what truck took teh Phillips 881?

No clue. I'm just going by what the sticky thread on this subject mentions for the front fog light bulbs.

Just FYI, Sylvania also states that the 896 bulbs are what you need for the 2001 Ram 1500/2500 truck..
