Default Brake and signal light driver side

Running light works. Changed bulb. No power to socket....... no brake or signal. Checked ground seems good. Any ideas? Why both if it's a fuse? Checked those too.
I'm thinking socket. Ty in advance Brian

Are all signal lights & brake lights (including 3rd brake light) out? It's good to check the fuses 1st (test light makes it easy). Did you check the flasher, too?

Had same issue on my 98 1500 checked everything but only thing made any difference was flasher relay in inside fuse box blue square relay helped make it click and blink at normal speed but still couldnt get back to work so i took left side trailer wires and tied them into bulbs and mine all work now but my gauge lights dont now i think its the headlight switch for me but aleast all outside lights work now
