Hmm thats a good point, I got help to crank it while im testing the ignition section and it was still getting 11V or so
It will flash codes on the check engine lite. Gotta count.

So it triggers the ASD at initial ignition on, does it KEEP it on when the engine is cranking? (that's a fun one to test...)
If you have test light just hook it to battery negative and coil positive. If the light goes out when cranking you have a problem. The asd relay powers the coil,02's and injectors.
