Got a ‘00 dodge ram rear lights only 1 is on but brake lights, flasher and rev lights don’t work. Up front lights work high and low but only flasher on one side, what do I check first?

Does your truck have a trailer harness? If it does, have a look at where it hits the main rear harness. Those are notorious for causing issues.

okay so the housing on the right side wasn’t plugged in so I did that and now I have both running lights on the rear and both turn signals but only one rev light burnt bulb?

Probably just a bad bulb. Pull it and have a look.
