TOYO brand G5-212X or 458C wheel bearing for Dodge RAM 1500 2500 3500/ Dakota and Durango from the 90's to the 2000's.
Measurements:
Slotted Dies: 28.6mm
Distance between Internal Retainers: 66mm
SMOOTH DIE: 27mm
Distance between external retainers: 92mm.

That's probably it, although the 66mm length is off from 62mm. HOWEVER, this could be outside the clips vs inside the clips.

You have at least half of your old joint to compare?

Also, whoever still uses vernier calipers really hates themselves-- and their eyesight Machinists go blind from a career of lining up tiny lines and squinting -- only half-joking......

If I keep the grooved drums,
I asked about the one in the image specifically because I only found that one published online (458), since they say they are not very common I don't think my 3 local stores have it

About the vernier they really use it to measure anything, I guess the digital/watch ones don't give you much confidence

If you check out the link in post #9 it will show you several u joints. You can see the details/measurements etc by clicking on the #. Is says "5-795X Front Driveshaft at Front Axle" is what you are looking for. Compare the measurements to the existing one to be sure. My calipers have a dial indicator, Much easier to read but always wanted a digital one.

A 5-795X appears to be more of an axleshaft u-joint with all internal clips

The PartsHawk link I provided has interchange numbers ‐‐ assuming the 458* is what you need. I think you need two internal and two external clips, but from the photo provided two cups are missing so maybe I'm wrong. I've never seen a u-joint retained in a driveshaft yoke with internal clips, so the two internal clips shown would be in the pinion yoke (Dodge's dumb design) and the d/s yoke would be external clips-- again, I'm guessing based on experience.

The PartsHawk link suggests a 5-796X, which appears more appropriate to me:

with two internal and two external clips and cups grooved or not grooved accordingly

Ok I was looking at the 5-811X with which I have a sordid history.....and it appears to use four internal clips. If so, I simply forgot. We call that CRS, but I don't think that's gonna translate to other languages for the OP

So really the question is if OP needs four internal clips or two internal and two external. Moparite's resource is almost surely better than my ailing memory (albeit a low bar, unfortunately for me)
