I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport trim with suicide doors and the 12 valve cummins, I am looking for all the door wiring for the passenger door as other truck models have different wiring than what is meant for my truck. I am also looking for headlights to fit because most of the websites I go to do not have any that will fit the sport. I am also curious if the sport model needs the specific bed for it or if I can throw any other bed on it.

 

For door wiring, you will likely have to look for it in your local salvage yards, car-part.com or you may have to purchase a used door to get the wiring out of them. You can try downloading the factory parts manual (available on this site here for your year truck - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...s-manuals.html) to see if you can find the part number for the wiring harness and attempt to find it new-old-stock online, as Dodge most likely no longer makes it. As for headlights, check RockAuto.com and other online outlets, as they should have them available. I upgraded my headlights to the sport style headlights and purchased them online. With regards to the truck's bed, depending on the size of your bed (6 foot or 8 foot), I'm pretty sure they're all the same, but the trim may have to be sourced elsewhere (LMC truck, etc.) to get it to match what you have on your truck.

 

From 94 to 98 the Sport package wasn't much more then graphics and color matched hardware. 99 Saw the introductions of the plastic contoured bumper, modified grill, quad beam headlights ect.

What issues are you having with door wiring. from what I've run into, they either have power mirrors locks and windows, plus the speaker wires or they don't. 99 or 2000 saw the introduction of the anti theft system which would've added door latch sensors. Does your truck have factory infinity sound in it? this would would add more speaker wiring
