Default ABS Module ID

P52010033AB
I need to replace this module on my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. The ones I see listed have a range of ID's the same as mine but the last two letters can be different as in AH, BD. What is the significance of these ending letters if any?

The last two letters of any mopar part number signify revisions. AA being the original, AB next revision ect ect. Generally they are the same part if the numbers alone match

Oh great! That opens the option to risk getting a used one that might work or not but are $300 cheaper than a refurbished one. A gamble I have to take

IME all these modules are toast. I service three '98s, a '99, a '00 and an '02 and they all have/had constant lights not related to WSSs

In Aug '23 I had our '02 rebuilt for ~$150:
