Question about ABS system
2001 Ram 1500 sport.
THe ABS brakes on my truck are acting strange. If I use the brakes on wet or icy roads, at first I get the ABS buzz, then my rear wheels lock up, then the buzz again, then the lockup again. It keeps doing it until I stop. Seems to be fine on dry roads.
Anyone have any idea if it would be the controller, or the pump? The ABS light is not on.

This sounds about normal to me, ABS allows braking until wheel speed stops, with these older systems with single rear sensors, gauging wheel slip on both wheels is harder.
Is this behavior different from what you're used to?

Yes. Normally its just the constant ABD buzz until I stop. No locking up of the rear wheels.
