i'm having problems with my 1994 dodge ram 318

the truck will not start when rolling over but when you let off the key it attempts to start


any ideas?

My money would be the converter mine is a 95 and does the samething only difference is mine will start after a few mins of trying i hold it to the floor while turning the key then let of the gas and it starts my mech says my converter is bad.

 

ok you guys!!! for one thing you two a Converter will not make it hard to start , now when you turn your key do you hear the FUEL PUMP PRIME. if it does not its a bad relay...if not let me know
