5.2 to 5.9 engine swap
hey i'm doing the 5.2 to 5.9 and was wonder, can a 97 ram 2500 5.9 v8 pcm work to replace a 99 ram 1500 5.2 pcm or do i need to source a 99 pcm. and can i reuse the 5.2 wiring harness for the 5.9 v8 engine and pcm or do i need to source a 5.9 wiring harness as well.

Wiring harness will be about the same. The 97 will have two temp sensors, but you will only need one of 'em. 97 PCM won't work at all, but, you can have yours flashed for the larger engine..
