Default 1995 2500 gas auto neutral safety wiring problem

Is the neutral safety wire a straight shot from the center pin of the switch to the negative of the relay? I have no continuity. I see it goes up on top of the
transfer case into the harness but did not follow it further. I dont want to rig it. is there any harness connector it goes through, or into the dash area? The reason I ask is if this were a manual
it would detour to the clutch I assume. I can see some one was poking around with the break switch and starter pigtail at the main breaker box was disconnected which made me wounder if
there ws a remote start or hidden kill switch. would a hidden kill switch be the neutral wire or some thing more sopfisticated since you could just jump the relay? I kind of looked everywhere though. On a 95 is there a crude computer interface under the dash? I see an unexplained black 8 prong female hanging off the bulster bar that doesn't seem part of the plow wiring.
the windshield has been smashed out sitting in the rain for 10 years so if there were a connection under the dash that would be a place to look. how hard is it to open the breaker box and what problems could I create? an answer to any of these questions is appreciated.

Given that the prior owner may have performed an electrical modification or two or three or more to the original wiring, I'd suggest taking a good look into the wiring diagrams offered in the factory service manual (chapter 8W) to try to figure out what's going on. You can download a free copy of your year truck's manual here - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-manuals.html

thank you, I couldn't find a manual anywhere on the internet, and didn't see it on this site looking around. Of course the schematics dont show connection blocks in the harness. but does answer the question if neutral safety ground goes through the clutch switch- which it doesn't. the start switch positive goes through there. so I guess I have to open the power distrabution module. (fuse and relay block)

Agree the wiring diagrams for the early trucks are pretty hard to read. A lot of connectors show up as >> with a pin number. Not knowing what troubleshooting you've done already, here's the basic description of the starter circuit: When the key is turned to crank pin 86 at the starter relay should see power. The connection from the switch goes through a connector for a clutch interlock switch, in an automatic there is simply a green jumper wire in the connector. Then through a connector on the left side of the cowl to the PDC/underhood fusebox. Pin 85 (black/white wire) connects to ground via the transmission range switch, however there is also a splice (T41) that goes to the PCM. If a kill switch was installed it would likely be in the wire from the ignition switch down to the cowl connector, possibly at the clutch interlock loop.

As for diag connectors there is a 6 pin (4+2) near the PCM and a blue 6 pin near the steering column for ABS and Airbag.

I didn't see the splice to the pcm on the bk white wire on the diagram, were you looking at the diesel diagram since
the Pcm controls the ground to the start relay once the grid heater is done?

8W-75 (sheet BR 26) splice T41. I think on the PCM this is an input to determine if the fuel pump and ASD relay should be activated when the key is in the crank position.

I see now on 8w-80-14 pin 30 is neutral safety input to Pcm. Ill check and see if I have ground there.
