That would be an excellent place to start, any chance you could also approximate the location for the notch needed to clear what I assume is a bumper bracket? From an old service manual it seems like the holes are 1/2" diameter, if you could confirm that and provide required bolt length to pass thru the frame I would greatly appreciate it! The fewer holes I gotta drill in the parking garage the better

The holes in the crossmember were already there on my 01 Sport. Adukart posted the mounting directions a little further up in that thread. They give a few measurements for trimming and drilling.

Any chance you were able to take some measurements?

Apologies, I was rather busy last week and didn't have much time to mess with my truck. I did get some measurements the other day, but since I don't have the stock bumper on the truck, I wanted to measure how much there is room between the bumper and the core support mount. Found the bumper last night, but it was buried deep under the other stuff, but I managed to see that brackets weren't there.

So this is what I got: front lower hole is 35 mm / 1,37" from the frame bottom, rear hole is 50 mm / 1,97" from the bottom.
Front holes are 48 mm / 1,89" apart, and they are 15 mm / 0,6" from the core support mount.
Front holes and rear hole are 42 mm / 1,65" apart.
Frame width is 918 mm / 36,1"
Bolts are 1/2".
Frame thickness is 3,2 mm / 1/8".

That's excellent, thanks! I'll be back at my shop soon and will sketch something out using these numbers, thanks again!
