Default No bus, no start

Hi all new here but need help extremely bad. I just bought an 01 ram 1500 and it's a nightmare. To start off someone installed a keyless system and I didn't get a remote so took as much of it out as I could. And didn't get a key so I put a new key cylinder in and also a headlight switch. But it won't start. The previous owner I guess tried bypassing the the starter and fuel pump with toggle switches. So I'm trying to get it back to original condition. Ok the dash is like missing most of it literally and I figured out why they tried to bypass everything. Seems the fuel pump relay melted the fuse box area where the relay was and the just taped the wires and bypassed it and I found today the starter wire from the relay was also melted and sticking out of the fuse box. So I'm gonna fix the starter part tomorrow. And got the relay hooked up the way it's supposed to be but still sticking out of the fuse box. After all this I'm still getting a no bus so I went to the PCM and checked for voltage and getting power to it but on my bus wires I'm getting 5 bolts on one and 0 on the other. Checked the TPS and it's the same 5 and 0. I think it's 5 on the violet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

bus wires are a high and low so one side is positive and one is negative, but testing voltage really means nothing on the bus. TPS would be 5v reference, signal and ground.

Is this a highline model? i think 01 was the first year to offer transponder (chip) keys

Do you have power and ground of good supply, just having voltage means nothing. I would expect having power at the PCM is a good indicator, but inspect the engine fuse in the dash panel fuse box, #9 or #11 i believe
