Question crank no start

hey i was on here a bit ago about this. i bought a project truck and it was a (unfinished project) by someone else. it was a 5.2 from factory swapped to a 5.9 now back to a 5.2 but this one is out of a 92 dodge dakota possibly. there is no power to the ignition coil from the harness and i replaced the ignition coil, crank sensor and ive tried a few diagnosing. but today i was looking at the asd relay and when the key is on normally the fuel pump doesnt come on so i tried jumping the relay. i cant remeber the numbers but when i have heard its for spark maybe, fuel and ignition. when i jumped the fuel the fuel pump came on and fuel was flowing, when i did ignition the doors locked and unlocked but the when i did the 3rd one i got nothing still 0v from the 2 prong harness clip going into the ignition coil, im not sure if i did it wrong but i just put both multimeter prongs into the clip

the red wire with the socket on it goes to the contraption of stuff when im pretty sure that is where the alternator wire is meant to go and the positive on the alternator has nothing so im not sure

\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ this is the contraption, if anyone knows what it is pls let me know ive heard people say a brake line lock but im not sure cause that makes no sense to me, usually the abs module goes here if im not wrong

What truck is this? What does the solenoid on the fender go to? I think you need to sort out the wiring first.

Some "creative wiring" going on there for sure. Yes the post terminal with the socket on it should have a sizable (6AWG) black wire going to the alternator. The rectangular components in the second picture look like auto-resetting circuit breakers but what purpose they have is a mystery. I'd agree rip out all the added/modified wiring and use the wiring diagrams to restore to factory condition.

its a 1994 ram 1500 with a 5.2 abs module is gone cause it was 1 ton axel swapped and the solenoid just goes to the back and then to nothing so im thinking it was for something that was removed

The axle doesn't need 12V, It was probably for lights or something. And you shouldn't have a tap on the alternator wire coming in to the fuse box(before the fuse).

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to on? It should come on and go out(if no codes) after the engine starts. If it's not coming on verify the bulb is good. If it's not working there is something wrong with the pcm or wiring/power to it.

checked today and its good but does not come on. im trying to check how the pcm is grounded cause usually through the asd relay there will be ground and there isnt any but all sensors have the 5v going to them

The pcm sends the ground to the asd relay when it turns it on. But only for a short time, If you wait it will go away. The pcm has a constant ground and positive power to it.
