1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Motor Mount Bolts
It seems America no longer has a clue how to supply or manufacture any parts for the cars and trucks it created. I have searched high and low for any parts for my truck, and it is a constant nightmare. So, I am reaching out to the last known defense for intelligent people, the forums. My little motor mounts decided to bail out somewhere down the battering road I live off of. Only seems to be the driver's side that loses the bolts. Please direct me where to buy these bad boys. I am in need of getting work done on the ranch. I am in search of a computer for the truck, as it is only firing on 6 cylinders, and the last mechanic said that was the cause. Other misc. things needed are an emergency brake, grill, and bumpers.

I've got a '96 but I've never lost a motor mount. I looked on Ebay with my truck for the search parameters. Mounts are easy to find with a full set under $100. As for the bolts, you can get those at a hardware store. Although you might want to put some thread locker on the bolts. I'm running a black grill but you can get all sorts of grills for under $100. As for bumpers, you can get stock or heavy duty bumpers. Front and rear both. As for the PCM, you can get used ones but you're better off getting one programmed to be plug and play.
I've pretty well gotten everything I've needed for the truck in the years I've had it. I sometimes will hit the bone yard or even make some parts, but I can live with a slight shipping delay
Do you have a pick and pay auto salvage (ie: self-serve junk) yard in your area? If so, I've found it a great place to find old rare parts. You can also check out car-part.com, especially for a used PCM (just find a matching PCM part number).
