Default 4wd noise

So today we had our first snow storm. Of the season and I went to put my truck in four-wheel high only to end up with excessive gear whine and clicking.
And I’m not sure what the issue is

My truck has new front u joint axles as well as new fluid in differentials and transfer case

I’m not really sure what’s going on with this noise any thoughts?

Did you ever have the 4 wheel drive working without issues in the past ? Can you clarify what "CB joint axles" means ? AFAIK there are no CV axle shafts for this application, only u-joint.

You're gonna have to run through the standard troubleshooting. Is the t-case truly going into 4hi (does the front d/s freewheel in 2hi and lock up in 4hi?) Is there vacuum at the CAD? If yes, is the CAD moving the fork?

Yes, I would start with verifying the CAD functions, not sure how bad the wine is but could it be a vacuum leak at the transfer case block?
