have a look at some of the aftermarket bumpers that are still out there for these trucks. Keep in mind, they are stupid expensive.... Some of 'em cost more than I paid for my truck......

well, I know I could just buy one but I want to make one not only because I want to be able to say I made it but also I’m almost certain I could do it for a fraction of the cost.
I'm actually impressed with Move's business model. If I were going to build something I'd just buy their kit then modify as I wanted.
I have looked at them but I don’t much care for the design of them. I’m wanting a more rugged design like the ranchhands. My goal is to do like a ranchhand style but with a winch mount inside the bumper and have some lights in it as well.
Sounds like you want something like this. If you look at how they made these types of bumpers it's a lot of different shaped pieces of steel welded together. Labor intensive that's why the prices are high.

kinda but more of the ranchhand style. I like the big bulky bumpers. I’m wanting something that will give full coverage because of deer and that I can hook a chain to and pull my idiot brother out of I have to. I’ve had to pull him out so many times it’s not even funny. I would just buy a ranchhand and modify it but they’re like $2,000.
I'd have a plan for frame attachment. 2nd Gens don't really have framehorns. The frame just stops at the radiator support, with very little real estate. This is not insurmountable, but it complicates matters
