Default Apologies if this has been asked

Have a 98 ram 1500 5.2 V8 Magnum 4x4 was wondering if the transmission out a 98 ram 2500 5.9 gas 4x4 will bolt up without any modifications or would it need to modify anything

The two engines are balanced differently. I'm not sure what the difference is as there was a change in the mid to late 90's.

Won't matter, in 96, the balance weights for the 5.9 moved from the t/c, to the flexplate, so, use the 5.2 flexplate, and the converter that comes with the trans should work just fine. *should*........ I don't think they have the offset bolt on the t/c anymore.
