Default EVAP 2 in 1 connector

So I got back to fixing the 01 ORE Ram I bought (same one I posted about running rich). Fixed the brake line and got front brakes again. Took it for a drive and noticed P0455 came up and P1899. 1899 I have no issues so that will wait. I remembered from last Summer that the rubber 2 to 1 connector for the EVAP canister was bad. I rigged up a temporary solution using 1 5/16 hose barb and some 5/16 fuel hose. While I designed a replacement to 3d print. Once I figure out the 3d print if anyone needs one, let me know! The port that goes into the canister will use an Oring to get a complete seal.

Default P1899

Decided to look into that P1899 since the EVAP code hasn't come back. Went into town bought the neutral safety switch. Went to install it and the wires right behind the connector are chewed (dang squirrels). Took my bike to return it and asked if they had the connector. Got the "have to order it" and when he told me the price I almost died. $78 bucks for a damn connector!?! So I ordered it through rockauto for $22 shipped.

Things are so dang pricey today.

I might be able to use one. Whenever I go to the Pick-A-Part and find a Gen 2, reach under the passenger side frame and check for one. Yours is a bit different than mine, if it works, it ain’t crazy.

Mine is the same, just the 3d part well be different. I need to find time to get measurements with calipers before I print the final version.
