Front end falling out?

Hi Im looking at buying a 96 Dodge Ram 1500. My father-in-law is dead set against Dodges...He says the front end "falls out" and causes accidents. Hes beggin me not to buy this truck....has anyone ever heard of such a thing with 96 Rams? Thanks Yall
