I'm not sure what system you have, but my Sirius receiver transmits a radio signal to your car radio, you tune your radio to whatever frequency your receiver is set for, (can be changed to whatever works in your area) It's not like the old setups that had a wire hooked to a cassette. Mine works well, and is a clean install. The only problem I noticed is here in the metro area you have to change radio freqs every once in a while as you drive and a low power radio station over powers the transmitter in the sat receiver. You don't need a Sirius supported radio to get it.
